The Biennial of Painting is accessible to a wide audience, making it the ideal excursion or weekend trip for the whole family. The three locations are situated along a straight route of just under 13 kilometres, making it easy to explore them by bike or as part of a two-day visit to the Leie region.

Group visit with guide
Get the most out of your museum visit with a guided tour. Tours can be arranged on request (at least 2 weeks in advance) and tailored to your needs as a group (minimum 10, maximum 25 participants). A guided tour costs €80 per museum and does not include admission tickets.
By bicycle or public transport
Combine a visit to the three museums with a bicycle or walking tour through the beautiful Lys region. More information can be found at Toerisme Leiestreek (link) and Toerisme Oost Vlaanderen.
The easiest way to visit the Biennial by public transport is to start from either Gent-Sint-Pieters or Deinze station. We recommend using the De Lijn route planner to plan your journey. At Gent-Sint-Pieters and Deinze stations you will find blue-bikes for hire.
On this map, you will find the nearest train stations, bus stops, bike rental points and boat rental services.
